Book Review: The Girl in 6E

The Girl in 6E
A.R. Torre

My Edition:
Paperback, 336
Redhook, 2014
ISBN: 9780316404419

When I picked up this book, the only clues I had to its contents were what was given to me on the back:

My life is simple, as long as I follow the rules:
1. Don’t leave the apartment
2. Never let anyone in
3. Don’t kill anyone
I’ve obeyed these rules for three years. But rules were meant to be broken.

I don’t want to say much else about the plot, because I think it’s best to go into this book with as little detail as possible. I will, however, warn potential readers that this is what I would consider an adult book and it does have a lot of sexually explicit content. I had no idea what I was getting into when I started this book – but I was pleasantly surprised. However, if hearing about sex cam workers, porn, and fetishes is not your bag, you’d probably do better avoiding this read. But, if you’re looking for a creepy, sexy thriller, I think you should give 6E a shot. I was hooked from page one and devoured this book in two days. I’m only holding out on reading the sequel because the next book isn’t due out until November and I want to make this series last! But who am I kidding? Later tonight I’ll be picking up the sequel, Do Not Disturb.

Looking for a quick thriller to keep you company while you soak up the summer sun? Grab The Girl in 6E!
