Judging A Book By It’s Cover: Line Art Covers

This is my weekly post where I highlight beautiful books from my collection. We all judge book covers to some extent – I created this feature to highlight and appreciate the art and design elements of some of the books I own. If covers didn’t matter, publishers wouldn’t put out so many wonderful editions!

I bought these two because they were cheap and sounded somewhat interesting. If I’m honest, they may eventually get purged before I read them. But they were super cheap and I do want to try to read them.

Slade House by David Mitchell was published in 2016 by Random House with cover design by Nick Misani and illustrations by Neal Murren, ISBN: 9780812988079.

The Future for Curious people by Gregory Sherl was published in 2014 by Algonquin Paperbacks with cover art and design by Zoe Symon, ISBN: 9781616203696.
