Judging A Book By Its Cover: Odd and the Frost Giants

This is my weekly post where I highlight beautiful books from my collection. We all judge book covers to some extent – I created this feature to highlight and appreciate the art and design elements of some of the books I own. If covers didn’t matter, publishers wouldn’t put out so many wonderful editions!

The Chris Riddell and Neil Gaiman duo gives me liiiiife. I’m so happy to have this edition of Odd and the Frost Giants that matches The Sleeper and the Spindle. Riddell’s work is just fantastic.

This edition was published in 2016 by Harper, written by Neil Gaiman and illustrated by Chris Riddell with typography by Katie Everson, ISBN: 9780062567956.

  1. I haven’t read this one yet! I was going to listen to the audio book. But then the crew said I should listen to the audio book while turning the pages of the book and enjoying the visuals. I will have to borrow the book from the library. This does whet the appetite. Arrr!
