Judging A Book

Judging A Book By Its Cover: The Incorrigible Children of Ashton Place

This is my weekly post where I highlight beautiful books from my collection. We all judge book covers to some extent (don’t lie, you totally do!) I created this feature to showcase and admire the art and design elements of some of the books I own. If covers didn’t matter, publishers wouldn’t make so many wonderful editions!

Featuring another fantastic-sounding, adorably-illustrated middle-grade that I haven’t read yet! This is the first book in a series by Maryrose Wood. Illustrated by Jon Klassen, typography by Sarah Hoy, published in 2011 by Balzer + Bray, ISBN: 9780061791109.

That bear is what I feel like mentally most days.
