Judging A Book

Judging A Book By Its Cover: Frogkisser & Twenty Trillion Leagues Under the Sea

This is my weekly post where I highlight beautiful books from my collection. We all judge book covers to some extent (don’t lie, you totally do!) I created this feature to showcase and admire the art and design elements of some of the books I own. If covers didn’t matter, publishers wouldn’t make so many wonderful editions!

Probably more often than not, I feature books I haven’t read yet. Today’s post is no different!

Frogkisser by Garth Nix has cover art by Jim Tierney and cover design by Christopher Stengel, and was published in 2017 by Scholastic, ISBN: 9781338170894.

This Title Is Too Long by Adam Roberts has cover illustrations by Patrick Arrasmith, cover design by Marie Popilio, and interior illustrations by Mahendra Singh, and was published in 2015 by St. Martin’s Griffin, ISBN: 9781250057792.
