Judging A Book

Judging A Book By Its Cover: The Hollow Kingdom, The Gentleman, The Grace Year

This is my weekly post where I highlight beautiful books from my collection. We all judge book covers to some extent (don’t lie, you totally do!) so I created this feature to showcase and admire the art and design elements of some of the books I own. If covers didn’t matter, publishers wouldn’t make so many wonderful editions!

Today I’m actually featuring one book I’ve read – Hollow Kingdom! I borrowed the ebook from my library and loved it so much I needed my own copy. This is one I’d like to reread soon, but we’ll see!

Hollow Kingdom by Kira Jane Buxton, has jacket design and illustration by Jarrod Taylor, and was published in 2019 by Grand Central Publishing, ISBN: 9781538745823.

The Gentleman by Forrest Leo, features jacket design by gray318, and was published in 2016 by Penguin Press, ISBN: 9780399562631.

The Grace Year by Kim Liggett, has jacket design by Kerri Resnick, jacket illustration by Hsiao Ron Cheng, and was published in 2019 by Wednesday Books, IBSN: 9781250145444.
