Judging A Book

Judging A Book By Its Cover: Pride and Prejudice (XXI)

This is my weekly post where I highlight beautiful books from my collection. We all judge book covers to some extent (don’t lie, you totally do!) so I created this feature to showcase and admire the art and design elements of some of the books I own. If covers didn’t matter, publishers wouldn’t make so many wonderful editions!

Today I have this adorable Austen set to show you. I think these editions might be abridged, but I couldn’t find anything stating that. Also, as is pretty common here, I’m a little disappointed that the cute design elements didn’t make their way to the interior of the books. Books deserve to be lovely all the way through!

Anyway, these editions by Sweet Cherry Publishing were published in 2019 with cover designs by Nancy Leschnikoff and Margot Reverdiau, box set ISBN: 9781782264736.

I love the gold foil on the covers.

Here’s where they live on the shelf.
