My Life Outside Books (Sorta): June 2019 Vacation (with lots of books)

My friend Melissa recently came to visit for our annual vacation. We always try to do a variety of things when we visit each other – with plenty of time for naps and reading parties – but you probably won’t be shocked to hear that we also make visiting bookstores a priority. Thus, I present to you our June vacation, which is certainly comprised of some non-book related activities, but is, at it’s heart, mostly about books.

My Bookcation

So I was on vacation last week and while buying books certainly wasn’t the only thing I did, I managed to visit 8 bookstores in Maryland (oh, and a comic book store!). Thus, I decided to rename it my bookcation. I bought books at nearly every location and I’m sure I purchased more books this month than any other month…ever. So I figured this week, in lieu of focusing on just one book, I’d focus on all the stores I went to!

Boston Book Tour

I have a few reviews to post – but I’ve been on a little vacation while a friend is visiting from Maryland, so I’m going to put those off for a few more days. I wanted to give a little update on what we’ve been up to however…which is shopping for more books!
